It has been awhile since I last posted. But I have been knitting. As a matter of fact, I obsessively finished the knitting on a wedding ring shawl. I have yet to wash it and block it, but maybe I can do that over the coming weekend.

I should have done it over the three-day weekend; however I just couldn’t muster up the energy to do it. It was a kind of tense weekend because my poor dog was beside himself with fear over some bangs and pops we’ve been hearing. I can’t tell if it is someone with fireworks or shooting a gun. We found out today that some of the farmers with cherry trees shoot at birds to keep them away from the fruit. Lovely thought, isn’t it? I got some meds for him at the vet, so I hope we’ll have a quieter weekend and I can catch up on my sleep. Because when Duncan can’t sleep, I can’t either.

All right, enough blogging for now. Got to save some stuff for future blogs.
